About Me


I am Angelica Sohn, class of 2029. I am currently a freshman at Brea Olinda High School and am in the GITA program. I started my GITA pathway in 8th grade and continued because coding and creating things is fun.


Personal Reflections


In GITA 1, I learned how to code using C#. It was challenging at first due to my lack of coding knowledge, but I improved by a lot as time went on. I learned not only how to code, but also how to manage my time efficently and how to solve problems.

This year, I am learning HTML and web design. I had some basic experience before but now I am learning how to build full web pages, apply styles, and make websites responsive. I didn't know that you could create games with HTML/JVS, which is pretty cool to me.


Academic Overview


I am currently in no clubs due to my scheduling conflicts. I am currently in one AP class: AP Computer Science Principles. This course is good if you want to go more in depth to coding. You also learn more resilience because coding is trial and error.


Future Aspirations


I plan to continue my education in computer science by taking GITA classes throughout my time at the high school. I want to eventually attend a university with good musical education or a good entertainment industry.

My career goal is to become a musician or music producer. If not, I'd love to be an actor or voice actor. I love music and creating my own music. GITA is fun because I can create stuff, but music is my number one passion.
